Omgiva teamed up with Girls Inc. of Washington County, MD to create an impact video about mentorship, confidence, and the Muddy Mamas Mud Run fundraiser.
From everyday moments with mentors to the Muddy Mamas Mud Run, the video captures the environment that helps girls learn, connect, and lead.
Girls Inc. is the longest-running girls’ leadership organization, founded in 1864. Their mission is simple and lasting: inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
Here in Washington County, MD, that mission comes to life through mentorship, a pro-girl environment, and proven programs that help girls thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
In the video, we focused on the voices at the center of it all. You hear directly from a member sharing how the leaders support her, teach her cool things, and take care of her. You also hear from staff who chose this work to influence and support young girls in their own community.
The impact is also generational. An alum stayed connected to Girls Inc., and now she gets to see that same support shaping her daughter’s experience today.
We also spotlight Muddy Mamas Mud Run and Obstacle Course, a major community fundraiser that helps fuel Girls Inc. of Washington County. Built around challenge, teamwork, and accomplishment, it’s a perfect reflection of what the organization stands for.
Our goal with this film was simple: create a story that is easy to share and hard to forget. One that helps the community understand the mission, meet the people behind the work, and feel the confidence Girls Inc. helps girls build.
We are proud of this partnership with Girls Inc. of Washington County, MD, and even prouder of the leaders they are helping shape every day.
